Difference between a web & graphic Designer

Designing for web and print are two different experiences. Just because a designers are good at one doesn't mean they'll be good at the other. It's necessary to understand that web and print share many similarities, but they also have many differences. Not Every graphic designer can be a good web designer. Both graphic designers and professional web designers understand how color can create a mood or set a tone. They understand the meaning of symbols and how they can be used in communicating ideas. Like any visual artist, they understand the importance of symmetry and balance among shapes, objects, and colors.

Web design and graphic design both involve artistry and creativity, but you need different tools/software in designing a website or making a business logo or wallpaper. You need Dreamweaver in web design, while Photoshop works great in designing graphics and other images.

Graphic design includes logos and print design. Graphic Design includes anything in the world that you see that has been created and printed (or displayed as part of a layout). This can be ads, magazines, newspaper layouts, newspaper ads, billboards, logos, brochures, books, decals you find on toys, CD labels & booklets, movie posters, and so much more. Graphic Design includes any type of design that has been created and printed.

Web design also includes all the technical aspects of creating a website, such as the coding part, basic layout. Web Design is task of creating a web page on the internet, the function of Web designer includes all of the technical aspects of creating a website, such as the coding and writing of web pages.
